Basic Spearfishing Course

Are you tempted to start Spearfishing, and take part in the only sustainable fishing method?

This Introduction and discovery course is exactly what you need to find out.

 Course prerequesite: SSI Freediving level 1 (or equivalent). 

After this specialty course, you will obtain the SSI Basic Spearfishing Certification.

The Introduction Course is completed in 1 day. 

First, in the theory part, we will review the basics of Spearfishing equipment, understand the basic hunting techniques, and learn the safety rules to always observe.

The second part of the course will be in the pool, where we will practice what has been learned   

(breath hold, proper diving technique, speargun handling and shooting a target for practice).

 The last part of the course (once you are certified) is an optional spearfishing trip where you will be able to apply your newly learned techniques in open water. 

Once the Basic Course is covered, and you wish to learn more and become a performant Spearo, 

we can do it together with the Spearfishing Safety and Training Course.
